Andrew is a highly accomplished arts professional with a rich background in musical theater, education, and performance. He holds a BFA in Musical Theater from SUNY University at Buffalo and has over 15 years of teaching experience at esteemed institutions such as Boston University, New England Conservatory, Hofstra University, Idyllwild Arts Academy, and Central City Opera Young Artists Training Program. Andrew has also conducted masterclasses at institutions including NYU, University of Oklahoma, Hofstra University, SVA, NYFA, Oklahoma City University, and UCLA.
With 15 years of professional experience in the arts, Andrew has made significant contributions to productions around the world. He has worked as a Fight & Intimacy Director at prestigious houses including The Metropolitan Opera, Los Angeles Opera, The Norwegian Opera & Ballet, Santa Fe Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, Broadway, and Off-Broadway. Andrew's credits include productions such as Armida at the Metropolitan Opera, SAFE at the Edinburgh Theatre Festival, A Little Night Music at the Huntington Theatre Company, Cold Mountain at Music Academy of the West; Carmen, Don Giovanni, I Puritani, and Greek at Boston Lyric Opera; Romeo et Juliette, Il Trovatore, Lucia di Lammermoor, AIDA, Turandot, Rigoletto, and Otello at Los Angeles Opera.
Andrew's talent and expertise have also been showcased in New York productions such as Forever Dusty for New World Stages, Pinocchio’s Ashes for Theater for a New City, and The Saint of Bleecker Street at Dicapo Opera Theatre. His contributions to Central City Opera include Dead Man Walking, Oklahoma, 7 Deadly Sins, Madama Butterfly, and West Side Story.
